what is the key to get some to vibe so well to ur song that they nod there heads back and forth

funny how in that video it was actually noisia, not rly dubstep but anyway... The key really does lie in the drums and the bass groove because the two are very much intertwined in my opinion. Like as I have always read in every music book they always say that the bass is the link between the drums and the rest of the instruments. The other day my brother was over who is not rly into the electronic scene but we smoked a few bowls and I started writing a drum track to show him what its all about. well after a while I got his head nodding which I thought was pretty cool and he told me he really liked the drums I had going so I went ahead and turned it into a whole song. SO def the drums play a big roll in shaping the groove with the bass and vise versa ofc.

its all about getting that 'shuffle' in the drums.

I never really thought too much about this...
neck snapping is mandatory during the writing process so if I am not bobbin' my head I can't really expect anyone else to
I guess for me it comes down to vibes.. you have to take in the gestalt of the tune, not just the bass or drums or keys

my very narrowly-defined definitions:
head-nodding is for hiphop. Yr focusing on the lyrics as much as the rhythm, so it's not a full-body thing.
House is a bit more phsyically-consumable; people's reactions start in the shoulders and work their way down.
Dubstep contains such low frequencies it literally rattles lower parts of your body. So it starts in the hips and works its way out.

also on a side note I really think downlink is a a very good example of head-nodding dubstep, the man knows how to make a groove for sure. Whatever breaks he's using for his hats in his songs sound fantastic and I have no choice but to nod my head!
