Chase & Status are pretty much guaranteed to pull a crowd, however the likes of Oneman and other 'big' (as in the scene, not on a national scale) Dubstep artists - it's a much, much different story.

Believe me if you want, I've seen it and experienced it with my own eyes and as someone previously stated using Plastician as an example (in a quote) etc it's a fact, not fiction.

But back on the Rinse/FWD matter, I've got a funny suspicion it will end up at Fabric, just because of the relationship with the guys at Matter. The Den isn't thinking on the same lines as the same people who ran The End.

If there are contracts in place that they can't do Rinse + FWD anywhere except Matter till 2012 or so, then expect a revival of Why Not? - and instead of The Arches it will be Cable (because of the We Fear Silence crew).

Trust me, I'm in the know.

Why Not @ the arches and at ministry was good. not feeling scala as a venue, they shouldnt do it there anymore.

as for Rinse + FWD i reckon they should just do it at the coronet. Fabrics a busy place and its got the dubpolice nights and now tectonic are starting up aswell. i suppose that hasnt got anything to do with the rinse team, but i dont think they need fabric to carry their brand; it brings enough people regardless of the club. also i really like the layout of coronet, especially the huge main room. people might argue the system in fabric is better though.

This does make sense about we fear silence etc.... Hopefully they do put it on at cable cos that club is SICK! fingers crossed for a saturday as well so i can go and not have to worry bout work the next day!

There seems a lot of speculation on this thread and little official confirmation (which isnt entirely surprising in itself), but assuming Matter has gone bankrupt, i still dont understand how they can be if they're owned by Fabric. if the parent company is solvent how can a subsiduary be insolvent?

As you said there's very little official confirmation of anything but I have heard also that Fabrics in a bit of bother too. For what reasons I dont know and it is probably bollocks but if its true then surely some questions need to be asked as to how one of what seems to be the most popular clubs in London is closing down?
