Red Dwarf Appreciation Thread

Post by amick » Tue May 25, 2010 3:06 pm

I'm currently watching Season 5 and my favourite character would have to be 'Cat', supposedly he went to the audition wearing his father's zoot suit. Legend.

Any other fans?

I love Red Dwarf. All about the earlier series though, got worse as it went along.

definitely prefer the earlier series. Did anyone catch that special, I think it was shown over Easter last year - dire!
He danced for eighteen hours staring straight into the sun, until at length a great vision came... He believed the world was made of shadow and that he could dream himself into the real world that lay beyond...

It was brilliant until Holly changed to Hilly... then it got good again for a bit... then finally it was fucking balls.

Spacecore directive 59483.2 states that everything from about halfway through Series 6 onwards is diabolically awful and embarassingly unfunny (especially when Kryten cries).

Although they obviously feel that there are more depths to plummet to, as there's gonna be another new series on Dave. I will console myself be eating piping hot gazpacho soup and repainting my wall from ocean grey to military grey.

lol....

the one where they go back to Dallas is classic as well, kyrten cooks the dead man for dinner.

They should've referenced craig charles going on a crak bender and chain-wanking up the M1 in a limo in the most recent series imo...

I met (well saw him at the bar) Danny Jon Jules (Cat) at some city corporate do a few years back for BT Broadband, I was invited as a guest of a mate. We got drunk on free champagne and fucked in the toilets. Good times.
