Hate to sound negitive again, but DAW's like Logic and cubase have has this feature as standard for years now. I just kinda feel that reason or record now as well are trying to play catchup with the competition. hmmm..

If you hover over the next one to shows a image but i can't make out what it quite is.

I hope the last one is a improvement in the dynamical processors.

Resampling would be very big for reason.

EDIT: I really like their blocks idea. Seems like a good implementation of the concept as well.

looking pretty good to me. updated drum machine looks sweet, sample choppage looks hopeful, i think the blocks are gonna work sorta like the pattern sequencer in FL. each block represents a loop youve made then you can sequence the loops, seems cool for some who like that way of working.

now i gotta decide if its worth paying for the upgrade, my reasons been legit since 2.5 but its not my main thing anymore so i might stick with 4.

Post from DOA

" Kong has a ring modulator, compressor, filter, overdrive/resonator, parametric eq, rattler, room reverb, tape echo, transient shaper, tom tom analog modellor, automatable pitch, oscillator, and amp envelopes, 16 channel drum assignments, all with gate in/out. There are quick edit modes for drum pitch/decay, drum sends, drum pan level, and tone level.

The tool window now has a sample editor in which you can record sounds into and edit. Normalise, reverse, fade in/fade out, crop, loop, crossfade....

Couple more CV inputs in the back of the combinator too.

I think their blocks are working at a more macro level.

I think this is the bump for a lot of people. A lot of people seem to have moved on from reason due to it's lack of vst support. Now with some new features, does it make sense to upgrade... prolly not. Prolly just going to be their dwindling hard core users.
