That was really interesting and good to see that the evolution of music is being documented.Hopefully we could see something like that written about dubstep one day.

I remember reading this quite a few years ago. Simon Reynolds wrote this, he has written quite a few things. He even has a book out that was a good read.

Used this link extensively in my Dubstep final year project at University :) Was such a beautifully written insight into the rise and fall of 2step and the UK Garage scene for sure.

This article got me interested in UK Garage a few years back... I had never really taken it seriously until then. The original article had a list of records on it that I'd love to have, but it was taken down and I haven't been able to find it again. Does anyone have it or the issue of Wire Magazine that this article was originally published in by any chance?
