Another Mac question: I just bought an old g4 tower for $50 to replace my dead PC as a second computer. I got Reason 3.0 on there. And I want to find an old version DAW that will work good with a PPC mac. Something with Rewire. Is there a version of Logic like that?

Version 6 should do it bro, not sure it will be too easy to find though!

Just reread and I'm not sure whether it not it supports rewire either :/ If not try 7, I have a feeling that works with PPC's too... It's much more powerful than 6 though so it's tricky!

I'm looking for a good realistic choir instrument and a theremin instrument

I cant stand Mac's ,even though I have a Powerbook G4. But on topic, Id say get Cubase. Logic 8 or 9 is good too but pricey and really not as user friendly as Cubase. The automation and sidechaining in Cubase is straight forward in comparison to the ole "Bus,Route and Sends" ordeal. But besides those DAW's. The rest are garbage. With an exception to Renoise.

Logic studio 9 The latest incarnation of logic IS cheaper than cubase as shown in the page before

Deckadance doesnt transcode to mp3, Only WAV when recording sections of a song .

You do know you can make drums inside soft synths right? Then they're not audio samples. Perhaps go back to "5th grade".
