@tripwire nice use of sounds in this, has a nice soundscape, good drums and percussion, keep it up.

Heres mine, some more future garagey style, some nice synths and chopped vocals, feedback appreciated!

Not mixed down at all so ignore that, but maybe some feedback on the structure too coz im working on that as im getting into djing my tracks so want them to fit well with each other and others . Thanks!
I like the intro with the vocals, fits well with the synths which are great btw. Production is top notch, personally I would give the drums some more swing on them since you seem to be going for a garagey/2step style but it sounds good nonetheless.

About the high hats in my tune, do you think I have too much high end?
GRAYSKALE wrote:@kontingobeats - left you some feedback on the work in progress page bro - again I'm loving the synths and percussion on this one!!
@tripwire - beautiful tunes as ever bro - loving that subby kick especially really adds some flavour to the drum pattern - maybe turn the snare down just a touch - other than that shit hot stuff!
@zonetrooper - got almost a jackin' house vibe to this one - its a fucking cool tune though - sub is fucking penetrating - sweet tune bro!!
@vertebrae steraliser - love the intro but think the bass needs more flow - really nice progression though - keep at it man!
@ironic - big fan of the hip-hop dubstep crossover tracks (bar snoop dogg - snoop dogg millionaire, lols) track as a whole is sweet vocals definately need a bit more juice though - looking forward to more of this sorta stuff from you bro!!

just finished the mixdown and master of this one - hope you like it - also free downloads on soundcloud if youre interested!!

First time poster, long time reader. I finally got all of my songs on the net to show them off. I am in no means a great producer (yet, hopefully), but maybe you guys can give me feedback/critique my songs?

Been producing since november bro - been playing in bands and recording stuff since I was about 15 though - took a music tech A-level but only recorded audio - so not entirely new, but synth design, midi and creative effects I'm pretty new to - had to have a break between feb and may partly due to laptop fuck up and uni work stressin the fuck out of me - picked up the old ableton live again last week and havent looked back since  more tunes on the way still learning new mixing skills everyday

New one from me -

Soundcloud

This is a bit of a departure from me. It's dubstep meets trance(ish), and will soon have some hip-hop thrown in as I've passed it to a up-n-coming Edinburgh MC to rhyme on. That will hopefully be up soon too.

Yeah noticed that myself, the breakdown goes on for one loop too long I think. I tried to cut it out of the master I got back but because of the build and filters it didn't sound right so I just left it. You live and learn I guess!

@k00sh yea liking this one man, quite a laid back feel to it, good use of sounds wit hthe synths and it all meshes well together.

heres an updated version of my track, some kinda future garage vibes, nice synths chopped vocals, I think this will be the final one but..should i keep the 'fee fi fo fum look out baby here i come' lyrics, i thought they fitted quite nice and gave it something a bit catchy, but some feedback has mentioned maybe taking that out so any more thoughts on that or the track in general appreciated! Cheers

@tripwire: Good tune, the bitcrushers do really well! The drums sound a bit weak. And it sounds like theres no velocity on the kick, which really gets annoying, to have the kick punching at the same volume all the time is no good! the melody is really good, i love all those small atmosphere elements :D

@Kontigobeats: First of all, that vocal sample is out of key! Fix it, really really a huge turn-off for me! But the drums are really good, i love the 2-steppy mellow style. That pad i a bit dominating, maybe... i dont know, but it sounds like it takes a lot of space in the mix, from all those other good elements and synths you have. BUt overall nice tune, needs some mixing still, but i would buy it ;).

@k00sh: wow, this one is really good actually. The drums are a bit weak, maybe you should bring out the snare a bit? The wobble is no good to be honest, the tune is so laidback and cool, that filthy wobble just destroys the feeling of the tune i think. The rap is very nice, i think you should keep it in the center. But again, nice tune mate, i love the cool sort of held back feeling of it. theres really lots of space, which is good!

Heres my tune then:
