@samkablaam - Cheers dude, did the first track last night on some in ear headphones so wasn't sure what the mix was going to be like, plus I'd like to do a little bit more with it and I've almost got the second tune done, mainly just extending it/playing with arrangement.

Really laid back feel to your track, I like sample-heavy experimental tunes like this... reminded me a bit of the Avalanches. Sounds good man, thought the instructional bit went on for a bit, but the beat's lush when it comes back in.

J - One - The sub bass movement is awesome in both second breath as well as falling stars, its intensely heavy.. And it's pretty amazing how crisp and punchy your drums are... I really like what you're doing there.

SamKablaam - Pretty interesting song...I don't really know what to say, it's unique, part of me was nodding my head tapping my foot, part of me was listening to try and learn how to play the guitar... I really like the glitchy drums in certain parts like at 1:58 & 3:15... Since most of you're song is based on the drums I felt like you kept it in a way where it wasnt over the top but not boring... Good stuff :)

@baaan - Thanks man, glad you mentioned the drums... was my first play with parallel compression (on Second Breath).

Really enjoyed 'Stokinw', some lovely synths and atmospheric sounds in there. Really melodic stuff. The bit in the middle is heavy. Wasn't too keen on the snare, I do prefer my slightly snappier sounds that cut through the mix though (personal preference). Top work!

@Sam Kablaam - really enjoyed this. reminds me of boards of canada in a good way. not enough melodically pleasing tracks like this out there.
Start routing some new effects for this, dude, cause it has endless potential

@J-one - track in sig - i love the pads and atmospheres in this one. little bit future garagey. My favorite thing about this track is the drum sample choices, they sound like they were made together for eachother. make more of this :)

ok, here's another wip i'm trying to figure out. This was one of those "I wrote and built 366 clips for this song but i'm only going to use 39 of them"
The session view is a disaster of unorganized clips, so i'm in the arrangement view permanently on this one.
anything leap out at you?

@streetxlite = Thanks for the feedback.

I can see lots of potential in your track. There's some sick sounding arps (?) and some lush pads, really feeling them I'm just not really one for the wubz.

@J- One, falling stars is real nice man, i love the percussion work, those little things added made the difference! Very nice soundscape overall, if that makes sense, like it all meshes together real well, and nice vocal! Drums sounds real crisp in both!
@streetxlite, i have to agree with j-one, thought there was some nice pads etc in there and the wobbles werent really necessary, kinda two contrasting vibes. Nice pads and synths though and the fx in the breakdown those eq'd synths or whatever sound big! So yea maybe just try working a different style bass/drop, but def got potential!
Also yea youre second track isnt working for me either, maybe reup it!?
I also wanted to say thanks for the feedback on my Here I come track from you everyone from the May feedback post as youll probably read this! Anymore feedback welcome on that, check the soundcloud, is the vocal out of key? someone said it was but i wasnt sure but i dont know too much about fitting the key of vocals!

Heres what ive been working on today.. am loving vocal chops at the mo so put more of them in, give it some emotion! Just a WIP, i wasn't sure of the 2nd synth line melody when the track drops again but lemme know you think of the track overall! Cheers

@JayZest - I like the drums on this. I like progressive tracks but I still think you need to bring things in a bit sooner (or add something to add interest... maybe a pad). Think your synths need a bit more volume. I like where you're going with it though, get a big sub in there

@HAACK - Big ups man, appreciate that. Dunno if you're after feedback but I checked the track in your sig and it's heavvvy. I love the bass, really menacing... makes me feel proper on edge.

@Kontigo - Nice vox, like the arp'd synth. Track's got potential. I wasn't so keen on the synth that comes in halfway (could work with some tweaks, just sounds a bit dry and lifeless imo). Feelin the bit at 1:40 with the "ooooh" vox before the drop. I like where you're going with it though man.

@ baaan - hey brotha , really like the synth work! Got a great sneaky vibe going with this tune. I have to agree with j-one on the snare, think it needs to be a bit sharper in the mix. I'd also look at playing with the kick a little bit, maybe set it back a tiny bit in the mix. All in all a nice tune bud. good job.

@ j-one - Ah j-one, always a pleasure to listen to ur tracks. Loving the mellow feel to both of the tunes. Great work with the percussion in both too. The 2 tunes work really well, great instrument choices. Looking forward to hearing more.

@ Streetxlite - (http://soundcloud.com/kesek/diversion-demo-2) - hey dude, have to say i really enjoyed the the flow of this tune. I agree with j-one and kontigobeats about the bass though, maybe try a softer tone if you going to stick with the wobble. Other than that i was definately feeling this track. Great work bringing it all together with the arp lifts and beats. gave it a big sound. keep it up.

@ Kontigobeats - Hey Kontigo, This sounds like a nice tune so far. All the instruments work really well together, flows well too. Love the vox, thought the overall structure was great. Not sure if i'm losing it a little here or not but it sounds like there's a limiter on your master going hard, thought it may have been giving the tune a wavy overall sound..? Either way the track is sounding good. nice one.

@ Tripwire22 - Hey Tripwire, thought this was a nice little track. I think you can double the lenght of it, maybe even triple it if your crazy enough! ha hah ha. But it is sounding good, kinda wish there was more to be honest, keen to hear it out now.

@ Jayzest - hey dude, nice tune. Like the beats. I'd love to hear the pad's or whatever they are in the backround brought forward a bit. I think they work really well with the track at the moment. Curious to hear what you do with the rest of this one.

peace!
