TBH, I'm the happiest person in the world when I'm sober, so every time I take drugs I seem to just go down lately. I'm also getting a bit prangier than I used to be. So basically, I'm going to try and cut drugs out of my life for a while; they're fun, and it's been nice exploring them, but once they start to become boring - just a normal, scheduled thing - and they lose that edge, they're just pointless.

Moderation and long breaks in between helps keep it fresh.

not on about k anymore. just find myself being really bored by it and people that do it. generally once the k comes out i go home. spent too long sat around with mates drooling and grinning like idiots. i personally think its a plague on the party scene.

Valid point man, but a lot of people don't seem to learn that much about ketamine and its unique traits. Most people who end up boshed with ketamine at parties tend not to have ingested it purposely either (dodgy pills being even worse because of the metabolism to norketamine) or people doing communal bumps and dingy six man cubicle snorting parties. Knowing a few soon removes it from the party lifestyle at higher doses anyway... Guess for me the main reason was it didn't mix well with hefty amounts of grass and beer, which are vital nutrients to remain a party animal rather than uncle kevin's party vegetable

Always champion to k hole and spoon a sub amp though, just got a bit hard to do in clubs without the bouncers heckling

it has a time and a place, going to a party, boshing half a gram in one go and spending the next hour falling around, making a twat out of yourself and generally being a buisance is not a good look.


i went to a little after party the other day, all good, everyone chatting getting along fine. nice upbeat conversation. then someone comes in with 4 grams of k and it all goes "isn't it weird how different your hands look when you've had ket?", or "holding a sentence together is sooo....difficult when....you've had some ket", or "i'm so mashed, ket is weird". that on shuffle repeat.

needless to say i bounced 20 minutes later!

yeah I agree that situation is always a longun and conversation of that calibre gets old quicktime, still I find a little bump when you're at party that's enough just to make things a little out but not fuck with your conversational skills is alright

This is my problem with drugs. I can imagine having a lot of good times but these kind of drugs just look like they can go really wrong now and again. I had a bad exp from alcohol and shit loads of weed which wasn't fun, lets just say I'm pretty cautious now.

mhmm, I don't know if k makes you paranoid like other drugs, but hearing 'he looks like he's going to die' cannot be good (though it's unlikely he could hear it when he was that bad, it might filter down into his subconscious or something).

k is a very sideways kind of high- or maybe even diagonal. in small doses its more like a depressant like alcohol or something. k-holes can be very psychedelic and enlightening if you go into it with intention- maybe in a more meditative type of situation with some good music at home. if i'm out dancing i prefer to do just enough for it to be mildly psychedelic but i can still stand and dance without stumbling around or knocking into people. its really easy to go overboard and just look like a jerk. it doesn't elevate me to higher dimensions or parallel dimensions- in fact it feels more like you're being projected down to lower dimensions or something kind of perpendicular- like some sort of sub-space of reality. I think it goes really well with dubstep- although i understand why lots of people object to loads of people on k at a party- 'caus some people just want to get really fucked up and they don't care how they affect the people around them. it can be very useful tool for exploration but its really easy to get out of hand with.
