Setting up massive
Ive been using massive for a while now in ableton, it was the cracked version and i had a massive.dll file, but seen as though im getting more into production i thought i would buy the massive. The file i got from the download is a .exe file and a Massivedxi.dll file, ive put both of them in the vst folder and neither are coming up... any body have any ideas?
Re: Setting up massive
yer ive run the setup, ill try it again maybe i did something wrong.

I read this a while ago, and it didn't make any sense to me. I just reread it, and it made less sense.creeptown wrote:Ive been using massive for a while now in ableton, it was the cracked version and i had a massive.dll file, but seen as though im getting more into production i thought i would buy the massive. If I were you I'd uninstall massive, like completely... That can mean many things, like trolling through your registry correcting any entries with massive and ni, ouch.
Then I would reboot my machine, and install fresh. I've had a few problems with massive (legit) so, you know, just pay perfect attention, and make sure you install the standalone, you can't run updates or something if you don't have the standalone installed. Stupidest shit I've heard.
And big ups on buying what you use.

Re: Setting up massive
on top of installing standalone, you need to run the standalone version first for some strange reason.
If your going legit id def reinstall windows and start again. Bit of a pain but then everything will run about as good as it can do.
