bulk conversion of .aiff to .wav

Post by doctor faustus » Tue Feb 20, 2007 8:58 pm

I am so fortunate that a friend of mine just gave me thousands of nice samples on a dvd, the problem is that I work in Furityloops and it doesn't seem to swallow .aiff files so I apparently need to convert them, I do not however wish to convert them one at a time, since there are thousands of them, so my question is: How do I convert these files from .aiff to .wav in bulk on a PC?
