The iPhone has superior hardware (processor, graphics chip, RAM), a far superior App Store, a far superior UI, a far superior OS, a great SDK, a far better market for your apps. Maybe there's no info, but I recall that when the 3GS was released, both in the US and the UK, the price for the 3G went down to 99/149. I would expect the same thing to happen again.
