@djaccel
Great locked, hard-hitting rhythmic drums & bass. Very mechanical, almost out of nature. It's late here and i've been puffin so this might sound out there, but I really enjoyed this tune.

@Melodium
I like the fusion of dub/breakbeats. Maybe work on getting your kick/snare a little louder/clear (to match the crystal clear vocal samples). But I'm chillin to this.

@reignz
Sounds like you put a lot of work into that bassline. Really intense headspace. And I like the chill release between aggressiveness.

@Mouldy Soul
Really interesting. Kind of a throwback to some funky late 90's idm. I like how there's a chaotic feel for the first few minutes then there's a moment of clarity and groove is flowing.

Made this tonight after watching the season premiere of True Blood on hbo. Have a listen and let me know what you think, peace:

@ Mouldy Soul - this tune is crazy! it made me tink my cpu was sketching out with the glitch at the end :) i kinda dug it tho!
i like the off kilterness of the beat, nice work i'd throw some hats in there 2 get even more groove.

I'm not gonna lie it doesn't sound very good, sounds like you made the sounds out of hitting biscuit tins, which is not bad thing, but they're not produced very well. Same with the kick, search for the thread I made with the decent samples in it thread's called "sample pack for da noobs" or something along those lines.
But yeah the over all tune sounds like some demented mutant cartoon music. But some would argue that's no bad thing, which it's not, but it's just produced really badly.
Yeah, on reflection a couple of days after i made it i did come to the decidion that the wobble sounded like a cat trying to give a speech.
But, it was an overnight project and i had only had reason for like 3 days.
along with inexperience i created that with a lack of any musical hardware. i have now ordered that Akai LPK25 keyboard with my left-over birthday money and im now saving up to get a pair of those cakewalk MA-15D speakers.
now they're not really great production monitors, but i am just a boy in his bedroom and from the reviews i have read it is more that suitable for my needs (which is low budget bedroom producing). when my LPK arives i will start putting together another beat with the knowledge i have gained and the feedback ive recieved. i think if i put a week or 2 into it i can get a halfway decent tune out the other end.

Mixed feelings about this track, your arrangement is good, the vocals were smooth and the percussion as a whole too...
The kick however kinda irritated me , sounds like it's badly EQ'd. The drop could've been better too and the bass is abit too dominating aswell.

As I said it's a nice idea you got just needs some fixing :)

@TK Jenssen: TBH i didn't really like it, you seemed to have forgotten that dubstep isn't only about wobbles, it's about subbass aswell?... Drop wasn't the greatest either and you're wobbles sound like the most standard ones you can get out Massive. snare needs work too.

And A-List , fcking thanks alot for that comment, that's pretty huge 8)

@wirez - liking that horn section thing at the begining and the break is fucking phat!! synths sound really clear and crystally, really nice on the ears :wink: really like the bass in the middle section!! good effort soon, and kudos on the experimental style!!
@vdbproductions - love the intro that's a really cool synth, can't really tell cause of my crappy headphones but that sounds like one tasty hoover, love that siren bit in the middle section, really well mixed and production is spot on, big tune bro!! more of this!!
@TK Jenson - bit of a garage feel to this one, really like it though, maybe try something a little less obvious in the intro - basses sound tight though, that random sound thing needs to be a bit quiter though its a bit too much, other than that nice work!!
@Collision Course - really good idea in the intro, but I think the percussion sounds too obviously re-pitched, vocal samples and slicing is tight as fuck though, sounds ace, bass is fucking hitting a sweet spot too, it's fucking beautiful! nice progressive feel to this one really climactic. another gargey soundin' one, everybody getting in touch with their roots?? lol.

Just finished this one, first attempt at a remix so dont flame me too much :wink: doing it for a remix competition so want it to be as tight as fuck!!

hope you like it!

This track seem to lack 'heavy energy' dude. Needs filling out with some nice fat frequencies below 100Hz!

It literally is potentially a skeleton of a Rusko-eque banger, just needs its muscle and skin chucked on in the form of some sub bass!

Thanks to you who commented on my track,m it really helps, I am new to this, 1 month of production, and you are absolutely right, to little sub-bass, boring break (I knew that...), standard wobble, stuff needs more work.
btw reignz, I use Predator not Massive
Anyway i will keep at it and come back harder next time, thanks again

@ offkey lickedbeats: that actually hurted in my ears, some EQ maybe?
@AL4228: cool tune, liked the vocal, with a proper bassline that could be a floorfiller
@collision course: Didnt get the intro part, but the main theme got a real drive to it, fat bass
@wirez: cool stuff, HappyStep, drums sounds very "Rock" to much reverb, keep em comming!

@pumice - Insanely trippy. Don't have too much to say cuz i'm definitely not an expert on that style, but that strong synthish-bass that comes in @ 1:09 and then again later seems to detract a lot from the vibe of the rest of the track. It could just be too loud in the mix, or it could be the shitty headphones I'm using right now. I dig the glitchy off-beats in the rest of it though. But yea, check the mix cuz it's tough to hear everything else going on when it comes in.

@fuzz_2k - Not too much to say there... real solid. Love how deep the bass sounds, while keeping the percs real crisp. I think it would sound even doper if you get that sub-bass hitting some higher stuff here and there real quickly for a tiny bit more variation and to help appreciate the lows even more when it comes back down. Just a thought.

@A-List - That untitled track is dope shit.

@tripwire22 - That kick is fat. Whole track is chill as hell. Personal pref is telling me there should be something a little more catchy to it musically, especially during the intro. Maybe just an unimposing solo line (8-bittish maybe) that gives the track a remembrance cuz I love the vibe, just doesn't stick out yet. Who knows though, maybe adding would take away from the rest, but might be worth a shot.

@TK Jenssen - I feel like those basses should be a little bit dirtier. That's just what the music line and that vocal sample is telling me. And be sure to get it varying up a little bit more, I felt myself losing interest in parts. That goes for basslines and beat pattern. Keep workin on it.

For everyone else, looks like the other feedback people left was all pretty sound. Love this site, everyone knows what they're doing, so big ups!

To whoever gave me feedback earlier (think it was Skaven) thanks a bunch. Took it to heart and I think my track sounds a lot better. Haven't been able to test it on a proper system yet but nonetheless, here's the latest version. Peace
