Re: New "NON-INDIE" bands?
you might have better luck with billboard charts and local radio stations catering to rock if none of these are the right answer. i just lump everything into a simple "rock" category rather than trying to split it up. ;p

probably because that's not your generation's music, it's just rehashing the music of the generation before mine... well, of mine too a bit ...jigglypuff wrote: honestly I feel like out of touch with my generations music

Re: New "NON-INDIE" bands?
"indie" is the only interesting new rock music imo. what indie bands do you not like
Re: New "NON-INDIE" bands?
Lol it really isn't. If you think 'indie' is the only interesting movement then you're really left in the dark when it comes to rock. There's so much incredible stuff happening in rock music right now.
An incredible band that most people have heard of, that you should definitely check out is Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Slow brooding instrumental music.

Such a good record. Wouldn't say they were new band, in that that is there record and they've just broken up but they were amazing.saphyre wrote:
Zelienople on the same label are ace as well; they've just put out their second record so they're not that new but this is brilliant anyway
