you might have better luck with billboard charts and local radio stations catering to rock if none of these are the right answer. i just lump everything into a simple "rock" category rather than trying to split it up. ;p

Lol it really isn't. If you think 'indie' is the only interesting movement then you're really left in the dark when it comes to rock. There's so much incredible stuff happening in rock music right now.

An incredible band that most people have heard of, that you should definitely check out is Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Slow brooding instrumental music.

i was actually really lucky i managed to find give it up a few weeks ago in stock somewhere near me, its amazing. i might have to dish out for going places though

im loving this too, might be too girly for some people lol
