Deadly Rhythm return after the success of last months Mount Kimbie album launch to present another road block prospect!

We are very excited to announce the official launch party for Kode 9's DJ Kicks CD. Kode 9 follows in a long lineage of prolific artists such as James Holden, Henrik Schwarz, Hot Chip and Four Tet to compile a CD for the label. Kode 9's mix is heavy on UK funky, broken beat, grime and R&B. Full details of which can be found at http://www.k7.com.

We welcome him back to Deadly Rhythm to celebrate the launch of the CD and have invited some artists upon Kode 9's request. First is Warp signed star Hudson Mohawke who plays a rare London show. Since the release of 'Butter' in October 09 Hudson Mohawke has been touring relentlessly around the globe, prepping his live show and embarking in some high profile future collaborations. We also welcome fellow Glaswegian and Lucky Me member Rustie and rising talent Paul White alongside the ever faithful Deadly Rhythm Soundsystem.

Downstairs its a funky affair with Lil Silva at the controls as well as Rinse FM's finest bashment purveyors The Heatwave. Anyone who made it down to The Heatwave's funky bashment showcase at Deadly Rhythm in November will know the crazy vibe to expect in the basement. We also welcome Hard House Banton one of UK Funkys most exciting talents who has defined the sound with tracks such as 'Sirens' and 'Reign.' His DJ sets effortless move between UK and US house taking in Funky, Soulful and Deep House along the way. Lego from the Bricks warehouse crew steps up for warm up duties.
