Plus, I've always thought of dubstep as breakbeat that evolved, the homo sapien branch as opposed to the knuckle scrapers. As much as I love a lot of these 145 bpm early jungle tributes, I've been waiting since 2005 for some kind of next level breaks and obviously didn't know where to fucking look. I'll be picking the album up on release

big up guys and Ghandi you are too kind! To be honest my route into dubstep was via breakbeat (before it all got a bit nu skool breaks) and dnb so the breaks & beats have always been an important part for me. Great to see this sound flourishing at last as it has been sidelined for a long time despite some incredible music and very talented producers.

The http://www.youtube.com/dubsnbreaks channel is growing nicely and you can always listen to my show for upfront tunes in this style...keep digging and tell your friends coz this sound is breaking out the under-underground!

delicious. love seeing and hearing this shit, more of this breaks based dubstep which is much more of it's own sound than just slow jungle or dnb
