Alive or just breathing is a top album, not really felt anything after that.
Same..The new singer killed it. :(

I like their sound, not a massive fan though. Still, one of the tightest live artists i've ever seen, amazing.

I prefered the older singer, although the newest ones voice is incredible, just doesn't do it for me in relation to the rest of the bands sound. Still fairly enjoyable though.

Only 4 good bands mentioned here. Massive mehfest.

Don't mean to sound pretentious or pricky but most people don't have a clue when it comes to metal.

i fucking love that album

all bout norma jean and converge...killswitch alright still

poison the well playing on monday they haven't played here in time cant wait for that
Yes ikon all about poison the well and dillinger, some next level arrangements and chords. By the way lovving the double kick on phonelines vip. Another band that should be mentioned here, not metalcore, but At The Drive In. What a band!
converge are madness, and at the drive in.
but then that brings it onto the topic of how sick mars volta are.
ATDI were sick. Saw Converge in '04 or '05 (don't recall exactly). 'The Saddest Day' is one epic bastard of a tune. Proper stagedive material.

Most metalcore is a snoozefest though. There's only so many ways you can rip off At The Gates.
end of thread, At The Gates + The Jester Race (1st in flames album) are all you need to know in terms of melodic metal, December Flower ftw each and every, tho its years since i listened to any of them bands

special note tho, 1st Killswitch Album is still pretty fuckin sick, much preferred Jesse on vox and the prod isn't too wall of soundy

If we're chattin' metalcore...

however, it must be said that there is a section on this forum for other forms of music. should probably move the thread there.

Ridiculous band, love everything they have ever brought out, just get better and better.

Great lyrics.
