so this arrives today, in typical terribly packaged UK fashion - sorry guys, but this whole soft & flexible cardboard-envelope w/ no padding/protection inside thing is ridiculous. the rest of the world can use sturdy cardboard box-style mailers, right? anyway, as i've ordered tons of records from the UK over the years, i've always expected them to arrive packed as such, and thus have some bent corners and the like. no worries here though, this is just a 12" in a dust sleeve, right? well, as (un)luck would have it, that wouldn't even matter, as this was to be the first record i would receive CRACKED in 10+ years of mail order. yep, when i took the 12" out, i saw what i first thought was just an annoying surface scratch, but seconds later i realized it was a huge crack across almost the whole record! anyway, i went thru the rest of the day extremely bummed but hopeful that it was hairline enough that the record would still play. i'm happy to report that it does in fact play thru with little to no interference. just have to be extra careful with it now! so basically i went from



also, somewhat related, when were DMZ001 and 002 originally released (month/year?)
I've been on board since the release of 003, curious to know when the first two came out...
and oh yeah -
yes, it was the last copy. now i just need to find a straggler of HYP001 somewhere!
