@impey: The soca vibe in that track is great. Nice and fluid. Keep it up!

Here is something I finished up today from the work in progress thread.

@ ENZA This tune im really liking, the arpish lead in the intro sounds really good, all the drums sound right, the kick isnt too dominating and the snare has a real nice crack to it. I really like the acoustic guitar part aswell, havent heard anyone do anything like that in dubstep before. When the song 'drops' and I first heard the wobbles I thought to myself 'oh dear' but the drums come back in and they fit in really well, sounds slick. Only thing, if we're really knit picking, some of the transitions between sections could be a bit smoother, like when the guitar drops out for the first time and the arpish synth comes back in it does sound a little awkward. Other than that really nice work.

@ Galbm Nice pads and synth in the intro, they work together nicely, I especially like the bleepy synth sound. Kick sounds nice and punchy but the snare to me sounds almost 'squelchy', doesnt quite cut through how i'd like it to. You could perhaps try something different for the buildup to the drop, the whole speeding up kick thing has been done to death, but it does work quite nicely. Now the drop itself is sounding really heavy, but some one said youd just taken the bass from datsik tracks, im not sure how true this is, but if this is what youve done then its not the way to do it, trust me youll enjoy yourself way more coming up with your own patches and basslines. If it is your own work though, props for getting it to sound like that, I might have turned the levels down for the drop though so it sits more evenly with the rest of the track. Some nice ideas here though, keep it up.

@ Banana Bomber Cool sounding track you got there, the main synth section and all the perc I really like. Not much I can fault here, if it was me I might have added a few new ideas or changed something up after about 2 mins, but I can appreciate that you might not have wanted to do that, keep the minimalist elements. Overall good stuff man.

You probably wont get much feedback on here on unless you give it to other people first. just a heads up before you get killed to death

Hey guys !!! Here's a new track. I tried to use different filters on the bass which turned out quite good. If you have any some sort of idea to make the track more punchy or any improvements on the final mixing. I've really been trying to mix properly these days but .. yeah.

@ steeze: The strings are nice and lush, but maybe the mix could use some work. The drums sound like they are taking a beating in the mix.
Keep at it! 8)

Lovely melodic intro man, percussion is big and the drop sample-incidental sequence works well... Great patch selection afterwords, Im not usually big on the midrangish wobbles but at least youve got some unique synthwork, its got alot of energy... the slower modulating patch feels like it needs some more intense variation though, towards the end of the verses it lags a bit, but thats just me maybe :? ...

Solid mixdown too btw, drop the intro by 3db or so though, pull a rusko, haha... up the bigness factor when the bass drops

I really like this, reminds me of the Africa WIP. Its dark and deep and creepy as fuck. The drums are good, minimal enough not to take away and enough to keep you going. That clap/snare/rim is really nice, as is that 808. I like that your brave enough to have silence in the track too. All I would say is that it could maybe do with a bit more variety on the second drop.

@ Basic A: It is a fine tune and the bass sounds lovely.
I don't think the bassline is strong enough to stand on it's own, without some variation in the second verse however.
