Hey guys, will post up some feedback for yall as soon as I finish work - in the meantime my laptop has just popped its clogs and all Ive managed to salvage is a 2 min clip of a tune I been working on for the last few days - just wanted a bit of feedback as it's a massive shift in style for me - be gentle as it is unmixed and unmastered at the moment - not gonna be able to finish it until I get new computer in a month or so =(

cheers bro - your track sounds really really polished - everything sitting really well in the mix  you defo got some skills! - yeah the panning was an experiment cause I was trying to fit about 20 different instruments and effects sit in the mix in their own place - I tryed eqin but I just don't know that much about eqin and mixing!! defo have to do some readin on that one!

@Loud Flavor: Sounds tight bro, imo only your kick needs some EQ'ing , and you need to pump that subbass! Rest is badass

@Greyscale: nice tune, but im missing some structure overall. No drop, simple buildups , stuff like that. Mastering as u mentioned needs work. Im not really into gameboyish sounds but thats just preference.

@rekstep: i get the feelin there's something wrong with your first wobble, maybe your rate? Rest is quite dark , I like ;)

My WIP , remix of a bro's track:

Some nice wobbles on that Reignz, though some of the sounds at the beginning sound quite raw and one-dimensional, its good though.

@loud flavor - feeling it all cept for the "yoi yoi" - damn good track tho - and as someone else previously said, get your sub bass thumpin
@reignz - banger fam! i like the song structure and the drums. could use some more atmos... perhaps some more reverb on those wobble synths
@grayscale - lovin the atmosphere and the drums on this one. nice chilled out track.

here's a bit ive been on today... started as a 100bpm hiphop beat but got upgraded to a 140 dubstep track ;p feedback welcome

@Loudflavor: Yhes man, excellent tune here, snare sounds a bit dry, try experimenting with a little bit of reverb just to fill it out a bit.

@King Ghost: Reminds me of J:Kenzo a bit, sounding heavy though, would like to hear the original hip hop version :D

@Finji: Production is sounding clean, no recommendations, good job.

Here's my track, I've been having a problem with Soundcloud as it seems to cut off almost 2-4db when I upload a wav file that hits 0.0 on my monitor. Any tips or ideas would be great on getting the tune in its original format into soundcloud?

Cheers.

:D

legen4ry - the garage feel is lovely loving it. the bass is nice and it all fits in well top stuff!!

Haak - sick tune the bass soundry that pops in just gives me a screw face every time!! top work and beautifull production.

Soundcloud

Here's mine, didnt really go about making anything just wanted a muck about but then inspiration hit me and this was born. dont watch the intro as there is none YET!!! I find intros and lead synths my biggest obstacle but its all about learning and expanding your knowlegde i susspoe!!

Feel free to comment and feedback of course will be given back :o

@ Geeza - Definately understand the struggle with leads and intro's. I always leave them both till last, which is usually weeks later when inspiration strikes. Thought your track was nice. Liked the vocal samples alot. Bass is sounding dirty which is always good. I'd suggest a fatter snare, maybe layer another one in there. And a second high hat behind the one you have running a faster rythim might sound nice too.

@ Legend4ry - That is a gem. Sounding really nice so far. Thought it might need a lead or something to mix it up toward the end but it's obviously a WIP so not alot to say. Will be a wicked track.

@ Haack - Lovin this one. Such a mean bass sound. Love to hear this at a gig in a massive field or something. no feedback really. Just well done.

@ Reignz - Always enjoy your tracks. This one was particularly interesting. awesome structure and great bass. The whole track had a really cool vibe. Can only suggest playing with your levels a bit to make some of the bass sounds sit a bit tighter in the mix.

Here's a track i'm in the process of putting together for a mate. It's a remix of Black Mags, he's planning on layering the vocals in.

Thanks for the feedback much appreciated. I deffo agree with the snare is a bit moist at the mo. There is already a second high hat but i havent bothered eqing it or mixing yet so it does sound non excistant. glad someone else is noticing these things aswell keeps me from being lazy.

Leads and intros deffo the worst bit about production thought it was just me who had a hard time with them :o

ANNNNYYYWAYSSS.......... your track............ noiceeeee my friend. love it when it swicthes up to the higher tempo, the bass is lush dirty as hell. Production wise is lovely . great track. will this be up on soundcloud with the finished vocals etc etc??

Hey guys :D I'm pretty new to this but feedback would be greatly appreciated, obviously this tune isn't finished but I need heavy criticism to let me know what's wrong (a lot of people are too nice and will nod and say it sounds cool even if its a pile of steaming shit)

Any and all feedback will be returned :D

Cheers

I really like this track, while the aggressive side of the sound isnt' my cup of tea, you've not done one thing what makes me dislike it.

The drums flow very well with everything else the bass sound doesn't switch every 2 and a half seconds and the track goes somewhere.

Overall I would try and get some more percussion in there and change the bit at 1.06 onwards, it sounds to low and crushed! 'part form that a successful start!

Soundcloud

Wow, I love the drums on this one the b-line is great too! Same thing will be said about the tune above, its a track what has wobble what actually works!

My only critisism is that theres no atmosphere, some strings or a pad trickling in and out at some points would make this track perfect!
