portamento / glide is left to the mod matrix and retrigger is the RET button on the lfo

Thanks, I probably just didn't look hard enough haha. I'll give this one another go, but I've pretty much settled into using Blue and Alchemy as my main synths tho.

That is up on the top bar around the edit button if I recall. If it's not there, it's in the bottom right hand corner. I can't remember which.

Think yoystep is different than brostep.

@ dep and others - u may want to consider buying the legit version, but not installing it, and instead installing the crack. The legit version is way more invasive.

There is no monophonic legato in Gladiator, unfortunately :(.

Hey, if anybody needs help learning their way around Gladiator, hit me up on PM and I'll try to help you out. I did a bunch of the presets in the 2.0 release and all their expansion add-ons, so I know this puppy inside and out :).

If anyone's interested, Tone2 has their own forum here: http://www.tone2.org/forum/index.php?PH ... 97cf52;www

I would highly recommend buying this synth if you're looking to create some powerful pads and atmospheric sounds for your Dubstep tracks (for those into the more liquid/ambient variations of the genre). IMO, Gladiator is a pad/atmo monster.

There is a Legato feature. And it works with mono. change Voices to 1 then pick Leg/bpm* in the Glide area and +-7 in the pitchwheel area.

Haha great workaround there...automating the pitchwheel in quantized blocks in the DAW, but by mono legato, we mean actually PLAYING the sound to get the same effect. You just messing with me aren't you :)~

Um i dunno, theres no automation done outside of Gladiator. I read the manual for almost two days. I checked it again, In the manual it says to do that.
I just know 1 voice = mono.Putting things together.

Ohhhhh ok...I get it now. Apparently we had each other confused lol. Yeah, Gladiator can do "standard mono", but legato mono is where the attack portion (like the filter envelope) only triggers once when playing a legato phrase. You'll notice that even with polyphony set to "1", the envelope retriggers every time you press a key. Markus, the developer, said he couldn't implement mono legato as he would have to redesign the entire engine in order to do that.

I played with this again last night for a while. Just not really my cup of tea. It's missing that legato feature and it takes fm changes too long to process.
