atm I'm reading the owner's manual to my synth. I've had it for years, but I can't believe how much I'm learning by gnawing my way through this big boring chunk of information. So many little routing techs and shortcuts becoming clearer now. . .

I'm also reading Food of the Gods right now. Speaking of Mckenna, the person who started this thread is named Datura.

Food of the Gods is a great read, as is more or less everything else by Mckenna.

Currently, I'm reading this:

crazy good book, good if you want to get to grips with a few things that have always seemed to bother you. Also, admittedly, good if your considering doing dmt ;)

Is it better than The Shadow of the Wind? I didn't think much of that.

I loved Shadow of the Wind...it's very similar in style..to be honest, I'm shocked you didn't like it.

I know about 6 people who didn't think much of it. It was ok, but from the rave reviews I think we'd all thought it was meant to be amazingly stupendous.

Yeah, my wife can't get into it either. I just thought maybe she was crazy...I really enjoyed it.

Have you read this? Pretty sad, but a great book...
