Cheese.
Remember the old MTV2 days where Zane Lowe used to be a completely funny guy and ask the random question of what kind of Cheese the bands like? Yeah, they were pretty diabolical, weren't they?
I work in a shop that sells cheese of all kinds now, from Extra Mature to the scraped-off-my-bellend-10-seconds-earlier (unpasturized). Can you tell me what type of cheese you like and why you like it and what it goes good with, please?

Cornish Yarg on charcoal crackers...
My favourites are :
Stichelton; an unpasteurized cheese made the way Stilton should be.

Strong, creamy, sharp and ridiculously good on Hovis crackers
and
Pont l'eveque; another unpasteurized masterpiece

Smells like a ripe farmyard in the summer. Excellent with warm crusty bread

Re: Cheese.
I reckon British cheese is my favourite, I like all varieties of it so I'll just say all British cheese... and none of that stuff made by the French.
Best none British cheese:
Feta

Halloumi

Provolone

Idiazabal (one of the best in the world).

Roncal

Yeah, sorry, Firky, let's just pretend I'm stupid and don't think about my words before I say them.

Fuck brie it's all about the camembert. Buy a whole one, whack it in the oven (together with a garlic baguette) for 10 minutes at around gas mark 7. When it's started to really go gooey, take it out and place it on top of a pile of rocket, lettuce and salady stuff you like, tear off chunks of hot garlic baguette and tuck in. Proper lush and filling, I do one quite often when my mates around for film / games. It goes well with good ham or chorizo toocollige wrote:Brie + baguette

Nice slab of proper buffalo mozarella and you've got a good start on making a fantastic sandwich.
