Hi, i have been a breakcore producer for a few years and have now been getting into making dubstep tracks. my tracks are on myspace and last fm http://www.myspace.com/blipstreet - http://www.last.fm/music/Blip+Street.

I am basically held back at the moment my a very crap pc but soon i am getting a new super beast and so my tracks will be produced a bit better than at the moment.

Hows it going?

I was registered here years ago, but decided to make a new account now that I'm making more and more Dubstep.

I previously, and still do, produce Breakcore, Gabba, Psytrance, Psykore...weird shit. haha

But recently I find myself being pulled in more and more by Dubstep and writing more.

I hope to use this forum often and meet some like minded people and be part of this community.

I'm a Danish girl who recently got interested in dubstep.

I hadn't really heard anything, but then I heard James Blake's "Air the Lack Thereof" and I was instantly hooked.
He's still my favourite dubstep artist (if he's even considered dubstep? I'm not sure) but I also enjoy listening
to Mount Kimbie, Silkie, Sully, 2562 etc. I still feel like I haven't heard even a fragment of what's out there and I'm looking forward to learn more about this genre.

I really want to start producing but I got a lot to save up for. Reso, Borgore and Benga are probably the artists I listen too even though they're mainstream dub. Hello everyone. I'm a middle aged, grey haired tea addict who has been digging around the edges of popular music since the mid 80s, looking for the good stuff that never gets radio play.

Why am I here? Well, when I heard "Pinball" by Akira Kiteshi, I immediately jumped on google to find out what this amazing new kind of music was, and where I could get more of it. Imagine my surprise when I found out it was called dubstep... hang on a mo, I have a couple of dubstep albums by Burial, and they are absolutely nothing like "Pinball"!

So, I'm here to work out how a massive adrenalin filled bleep-fest manages to be the same genre as sinister ambience... and also to work out how to feed some of these amazing sounds into my own music (http://www.myspace.com/lxnen if anyone's interested... I don't think it's dubstep, but clearly I'm no expert!)
