i love sampling from games, i extracted all the audio from bioshock and bioshock 2, and there is some great stuff in there

i have taken very specific things from loads of games recently, its a really good source of sounds i think

mass effect has some cool sounds in it too

some video game ost are ok but, they gold is at those Anime OST's. Silent Hill and Res. Evil is great but EVERYONE and their grandma has used them.

Anime ost's are more random and no one seems to really use them - atleast ones ive found- . Check out some stuff from Origa and Graeme Reavelle _something like that-

theres some website too.might have to google it but its something like Radiomanga.com ,.net or whateve

Castlevania! Mate, some of the best 16 bit era tunes agwan there.

I'm now inspired to go and grab my SNES down from the loft and get sampling! Zombies Ate My Neighbours ftw! :D

Oh, and you could could do far worse than sampling Dead Space. Sound on that game is SICK.
