Shorty's - Fulfill The Dream

Post by dutty_switch » Wed Jul 14, 2010 7:43 pm

Don't know if this'll interest anyone but thought I'd post it up anyway. This video is absolutely amazing, still. 12 years old and still tech as fuck. I remember buying this from Air Circus in Kingston when it came out for £25 on VHS. (Still got it though)

any video with Rodney Mullen is gonna be boss

EDIT: but i agree... that vid is too good. Haslam and his one footed antics blew my mind, not to mention all the spots they found

I remember the first time I saw Round 2. Rodney Mullens intro section with the beginning part of Clubbed To Death where he does that little acid drop to manual on a board with no front trucks! haha I couldn't believe what i was watching. After I watched it, I went out in the street an tried it and immediately fell over and the board flew out and dented a car door

Haslam is sick as is Daewon Song. The level of skating right now is insane. Its getting like Tony Hawk on the playstation.

Good old Air Circus. :D Don't think they're around any more. I know the one in Kingston became a Route1.

I still got Photosynthesis on VHS. Awesome video. Plus it had all the Habitat riders as well like Tim o'Connor, Kerry Getz, Danny Garcia and Mark Appleyard.

I need to have a proper sit down and copy all of my videos to DVD. Would take ages but definitely worth it. :)

8) No worries.

Skate videos are always such a good way to chill out. I think its the sound of the wheels clacking on the ground, plus I find the sound of the board popping and then landing quite relaxing  Always used to dose off on a sunday afternoon watching skate vids.

This is another one of my faves. Blueprint - Waiting For The World. A nice slice of British skating. (Look how fucking battered everywhere is compared to a Cali video. hahaha
