HAHA.

Yeah, I know, it's too close, I would ideally like them to be a little wider as well, but it's my living room. The room is only 9 feet wide, and the desk 4 feet.

Yes, MonoMachine - my treat to myself, but admittedly need to spend a lot more time with it, it's tough to program.

Just got it last night and only got to spend maybe 30 minutes on it.
It's a very straightforward virtual analog synth that has great a great, full sound.
I like how simple/straightforward the layout is for programming, my goal is to get better at designing my own sounds and I think the simplicity will help me.

MonoMachine is tough to program (for me). It's unique. ADHR as apposed to ADSR, 1 band EQ, the filters are a bit different as well. I have made some good patches, but I end up doing a lot of RTFMing, googling, etc, etc and taking forever for relatively basic stuff. Not even close to being decent on it.

Roland SH-01 is blissfully easy! Busted out some leads, reeses, etc last night right away.

Dude, get the Tetra, Its 4X the Mopho and half the voices of the Prophet 8... sorta meeting in the middle. Its quite cheap too... Thats what i would recommend.

personally i wouldn't bother buying a synth if it wasn't analog, so i definitely think it is worth more.

My buddy just got the Tetra and the Mopho Keyboard, they look excellent, I can't wait to try them out.

Done a bit more on the modular, another couple of modules done, but no way of controlling any analogue gear, gonna try to sort something out with an Arduino.

Just did a lot of selling and buying. New setup!



Still need to clean up the spiderweb of cables, and get something to raise the back of the modules so they are angled, but this is my new work area.
Better pictures soon after I do the finishing touches.

I thought you just needed the Tetra on top of the Mopho in order to make it poly?? Or is the tetra a synth in itself?
