It would be a horizontal traker sequencer coupled with an arrange page to work with audio and automation.

Surely you have a few improvements you'd like to see incorporated into the program? No program is perfect...

Especially something as waste as Ableton! :P

I am sure there are some updates that they can / will do but tbh I am perfectly content with version 8. 7 I had some questions about but they answered them. It's perfect for me and that can't be debated.

There are a lot of very serious improvements I'd like to see in fl. But the biggest pie in the sky I'd like to see is a session type view from ableton in fl. I'd make a poopoo in my pants on that one.

Once again, almost everything you say in regards to fl just reveals your ignorance. If you'd like to continue the exhibition, please continue.

The wide mixer channels are jokes. Fl's dev argued against this for years. Now you can almost see as little as you can in cubase and logic. Progress!

See the waveforms in the mixer channels. Bizzare!

^^ Harsh ^^

But what is true is that users of Cubase, FL, Reason, Logic, Ableton, Renoise and Pro Tools are slightly 'backwards'.

I have plenty to show for it.

Fl's strong suit is usability and efficiency, and beats all contenders in my opinion, though I haven't used logic since apple bought it. These upgrades make it just that much better.

Like pattern transport to playlist. Very nice.
