Live P.A. Battle

Rules and Info
August 8th At Aces Lounge
Austin Texas, 78704


The Live P.A. Battle will start at 9:00pm sharp.
Their will be 3 stage areas
one performing
one breaking down
one setting up.
The max performance time is 10 minutes
10 contestants Total

This Event is only open to solo acts at this time
I may do more in the future geared to larger
Electronic infused acts if there is interest.

To be considered a Live P.A.
You need to be playing original music using electronic devices.
(doing a live remix is OK)
you can use any sequencing device
(laptops, MPC, Electribe, ext...)
you can also bring any accompanying instruments.
but you get no more then 4 channels to the board
and you must fit on our behind the table provided
you get
10 minutes to set up
10 minutes to perform MAX
10 minutes to break down

Basically this is very open just get my approval.

Their will be 3 judges
that will decide the winner and second place
you will be judged on
Performance
Originality
Crowd Participation

first and second place will receive prizes
then their will be a 3rd prize pulled via name draw
for one of the other 8 contestants
I will also try to make sure that everyone gets some give way stuff
(t-shirts, stickers, not sure but ableton is sending me a box)

there is a $20 advanced entry fee which includes entry to the
Ableton workshops that will happen from 5-9
