Hi everyone,

Over the last six months For The Win Records has been building up to releasing our new releases and roster. I am now more than happy to announce the first two vinyl releases coming from the label.

FTW001 - Magenta - The Sphynx / Gutwrench

Bio: Magenta has a big sound, the kind that could tear down any dance on sheer rumble alone, but this is no kick snare wobble Brostep. With a talent for music that started with the Guitar at 8 years old (and the Piano at 12) plus enough emotion to power a Tom Hanks movie, Magenta’s productions ride that meeting point between filth and beauty, music for dancing and music just to get lost in and listen. Like most members of the ever blossoming Cardifff scene he carries his own sound and has found favour amongst some of the biggest Dubstep artists such as Komanazmuck, Orien, RSD, Jakes, Datsik and Rossi B & Lucca. With some heavyweight releases on Betamorph and Pesky Plates plus many more in the pipeline, this could prove to be a truly fruitful year for him.

Seen Magenta DJ a few weeks ago. Wasn't hugely fond of the music, but he knew how to hype the place up.
