Yep.

But I have been on some newer models where they do not have the click but the pitch is still shit around zero. It works better above zero rather than below zero too.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

A lot of what i play sounds really shite slow (but then again, most of the stuff i play runs in the 135-140 region opposed to 140-155

I have decks that are tuned nicely with brand new pitch faders

I like to mix at +1.5 - +4 beacuse I like the energy the music has at that speed

I am also always cognizent of what the BPM of the next tune is and I try to never drop below 0, but it happens sometimes.

Little squeaky newbie talking amongst the big boys - I have two m3d's and one of them is rock steady around 0, the other - total disaster around 0.

Yeah I have never done this before but lately I have been going like you say 136 to 138. Makes the sub deeper and the tunes creepier but also I can throw in some UKF or something.

My old techs are calibrated just fine thanks Deadly but the pitch is somewhat unpredictable when you get too close to the locked position. There is a mod you can do to remove the quartz and the notch and I have been meaning to do it but the problem comes when I play out on a set of decks that had the notch it could fuck up my plans a little bit.

I feel a bit embaressed to admit that I never knew about the 0 pitch issue with technics (which I've now had for about 5 years...) and perhaps this irrelevant, but I rip all my vinyl to play on my ipod - should I be ripping them at +2 instead of 0, or is this only an issue when mixing?

Its just with mixing mate, there is a groove at 0 (When the light comes on) which is really stiff and doesn't allow for fine pitching.
