THE ULTIMATE DUBSTEP SOUNDSYSTEM (?) FOR HIRE!

Post by gramps » Fri Mar 02, 2007 12:55 am

THE ASYLUM (Alias Gramps Hi-fi/System Outlaw) is for hire...

Need a little something to spice up your night? Why not get in up to 50k of fat, throbbing purple soundsystem!

Ideal for Dubstep, as many people who've witnessed the carnage at Brightons Dub Pressure night, or the recent soundclash will testify to. We also have experience working with the likes of The Slaughter Mob, Congo Natty, Undiluted and many other Jungle/DnB nights, live bands, stages at festivals, floats at carnivals and years of parties...

Looking to get out of Brighton abit more, and willing to travel almost anywhere.

We can cater for venues up to 2000 capacity+ with very high sound pressure levels and sub that hits really hard and low, but unlike many other big rigs, keeping the mid/highs crisp and clear at the same time.

Please excuse me from blatantly promoting my services on this forum if its not the done thing! But times are kinda hard, I'm loving the Dubstep scene and I wanna be out there with the rig, doing something I'm really into with it.

For details/pics of the system, please do not hesitate to PM me and I'll e-mail you with specs etc.

DISCLAIMER! If anyone out there reckons their rig is better for dubstep then I don't want any beef (the claim to be the ultimate dubstep system ain't exactly serious)! I'm well up for some more sound clashes though if you think you're 'ard enough!

Take care

Gramps

it's a very simple answer. the answer should be "of course i will rent you out!"

i havent even heard the gramps system, i live in the states and i know it's reputation for being a bad muthafucka. id scoop some bread up and give a holla!

cuz ya see, when you have a TON of these:

Gramps ain't Turbosound... Void Acoustics Stasys 3 tops and Looneybins!

Looneybins (as in the pics) are BADBWOYS! The most hardcore 1000w 18" drivers pump bass out those horns like no other bin of its size. When money allows they'll be joined by some Lab horns, for ultra low lows at levels that will make the Valve system seem like nothing more than a mouse fart in the wind!

Amps are Camco Vortex, MC2 E series and Lab Gruppens. Not that thats going to interest many people....

@ Thump rat.. Prices depend on where the gig is and how much of it you want. We also customise prices according to the customers needs/budget. Sound engineers/system technicians/monkeys to set-up/packdown and delivery included!

I have heard/felt this system many times and it is SICK 8) If you are putting on a night I would highly recommend Gramps. If you are in any doubt, ask anyone who has been to dubpressure. :D

Gramps hifi is highly recomended by me, absolutely weighty, great clarity and definition.
I've played on many a systems and sometimes they just can't handle the subs in me dubs at a decent level.
I remember playing a Dubpressure, just about to rinse a fat 12'' subplate I cut earlier and saying to Darkside this might blow the system or something when it drops bruv, (lol) I was really apprehensive about it, but needless to say Gramps dealt with is sweet without to distortin to fuck, it was like the the room was floating.

Big up

Many, many thanks to all you guys for biggin up the system... Can't believe that people have heard about it accross the pond!

@ Whoever it is in the States reckons he'll match me bin for bin and rinse me out propa style- Tell you what matey, I'll meet you halfway, both rigs on their own boats, first to sink the other one with the sub wins... Sound fair? Winner gets to go home fully intact, looser gets to swim home in a rubber ring...

Take it easy
