I searched everywhere and found nothing.
Super sorry if there was anything that could have helped me.

Ok so I really wanna get into production but I know absolutely nothing, I read the production bible, I went to all the ableton fourms, watched all the tutorials and found nothing. I dont know what VST's are or or Khz and stuff and I have looked everywhere for information but cant find it.

Also how do you get to the key mapping thing, Ive also looked everywhere and cant find that either.

Thanksssss and please dont be harsh. Im just a little noob :)

Hi Gnarhesh,

Have you done that walkthrough tutorials that are part of Ableton?

Those would be a good way to start if you haven't.

I went through all the tutorials, it's good if you know how to produce already and just want to transfer your skills, but not for beginners. Look at one of the many beginner music production and google 'terminology explanation', will help a lot.

gnarhesh, the quickest way i got the hang of creating basic music in ableton was by watching youtube tutorials, just search for basic ableton tutorials or how to make a specific song and i learned entirely that way

quick question, i use both ableton and fl studio (fl rewired to ableton for drum sequencing) the one thing i like about FL studio is the stereo enhancer effect and i havent been able to find any equivalent download or existing effect within ableton, anyone know any good alternative methods for getting the same effects or a freeware vst that does the same thing?
many thanks

There's no specific stereo enhancer effect, but you can play with M/S mode in EQ8 and the usual suspects like chorus, flanger, phaser etc. Utility also has a stereo width parameter but it's really just a tool, not an effect (200% wide gives you only the Side signal).

I dont think midi bpm matters b/c its not stretching audio. I am pretty sure the midi bpm never matters. Does it change the sound?

In the browser, click the top of it, or an arrow or something to change if you want alpha ascending or descending

Muck about, there is way to do it. Maybe try right clicking in the browser.

Otherwise I will take a look when I am in front of Ableton next.
