There's gonna be a lunar eclipse tonight. Might be worth a look.....

It should be totally covered between 2244 and 2358.

yeah our moons gone bright red outside. i'm in wales at the moment so the druids are getting their kit ready for soem moonlight rutting. big

Wasnt red at all here, just turned into a kind of ring then went a little orangey.

Well, im pretty sure it depends upon a couple of things, position of the moon in the sky, and the amount of smog/dust. Something to do with the particles in the air shortening the wavelength of the light (moving it closer towards the red side of the visible spectrum).

And then, the lower the moon is in the sky for you, the more oblique the angle that youre looking through the smog is, so the more there is in the way and its redder.
