their is a time and place for everything

a HARD NYC rave is no place to drop eyes down tunes.

but bangers YES!

they did what they came to do, DESTROY THE FUCKING PLACE

large up skream and benga, keep doing what your doing.

i i dont think anything can beat the feeling of a crowd going ape shit to the music you're playing
there is something that beats that. the crowd going ape shit to the tunes your playing that YOU produced.

djrodan wrote:dude you went to hard nyc.... urb mag ripped apart the show, im not surprised. theres mad kids in the US (kids, 15-18) that looooove sweet shop and shit. hard nyc is that type of show.

skream and mala at dub war was the truth. awesome set, still some sweet-shop-ish stuff going on, but overall awesome vibe, performance, tunes, etc...

skipping the high profile events is generally a good idea, also 21+. the ex-hardcore/emo, moshing/mashing kiddie crowds can really ruin the show.

dude i was at that dubwar.
it changed my fucking life.

He couldn't mix at all when he was releasing his early tunes I believe.

True.

Mala said he played on DubWarz (in 06) coz "Coki didn't DJ then"

Seckle would know when he started I'd imagine...

I remember that night at DMZ when Skream came on stage drunk and kept rewinding Coki's tunes or Mala's cant remember who it was so funny but completely kills the vibe going on...it was soon redeemed as it was Goblin that was eventually played and the whole way through

no need to drag down the reputation of education Seckle! ;)

lol at folks saying the audience looks waste in the vids. it was 110 degrees w/ 100% humidity on Saturday.

My wife was covering it for the website she works at, was getting texts that people were loving Skream/benga/12th planet. lots of fun.

Mad issues w/ the MIA set apparently, and WOTS is that she's offering a free makeup show for folks. Not bad.

Yup I had the pleasure of meeting him (backstage) at Metropolis, Leeds Uni. He had drank near enough a full bottle of Smirnoff Vodka (to himself) NEAT on the rocks before hitting the stage. Another bottle of Smirnoff was on stage with him!! Must admit tho, there were a few empty cup holders tagging along tho, and I ain't talking about their glasses!!

I'm saying nothing more than that. :D
