Please, unlock, the, datscision sounds thread? Ive pretty well recreated some patches and Id like to type up a tutorial without starting its own thread. If I make a seperate one, its lost forever, vs. there, its part of the reference section of the board.

I know it got a little trolly in there, but I know alot of us would actually contribute in there (bokator, werent you on about this?)

I dont see why its locked if its a sticky. We should be able to add new, useful information and links as they arrise.

You could just start a new thread. I'm always down to learn more about sound design, and I've tried for fun to replicate the datsik bass with no luck.

I know, and I will if I cant get that unlocked, it deserves a tutorial and Im not sure Id ever use it in a tune... but it wont be the same... that has the potential to be a productive, rolling chat about somewhat advanced synthesis techniques, I know Im not the only person who sits around and makes patches all day, and alot of people have agreed itd be nice to be able to just get it all in one place, and get mass people piling information in and bouncing patches around and whatnot... that could be the bro bass mega thread... but its locked

Man, that is living the dream right there.

C'mon mods, make this happen. Think about it, the more info, patches and info on sythesising these sounds, the less 'how does I makez teh Datsik basses' threads will be clogging up the forum... Perhaps make a separate 'patches and techniques' sticky?

Dont give me this. I speant a few minutes googling for Bokators thread, never found it though. Its been a running complaint from those of us who would like the discussion for a while...

Id retitle it 'Filth, Wobbles, and Distortion', unlock it, sticky that and how to make this sound.

But Im in no place, this is mods ground... its just an idea I figured Id revive...

I'm for it but I bet we're still going to get people ignore the tutorials and post youtube videos asking how to make that exact bass which will then lead to piss taking and clogging of the thread.
Either way it's worth a shot. If we can't get it opened you can always make a tut and get it added to the production bible, that way it'll at least get referenced.
