I was told it was the exact opposite but that was by a guy down the pub so I shoulda thought it was probably garbage. I've always done Teabag - Hot water - Milk - Sugar - Biscuit

its all about the fusion... it needs a good temp to happen.
ya can get away with the milk in first, if you only use a little amount of milk (not shaolin style though ).

im a leave the teabag in type of fullah... so its not too bad either way.
but I taught ma daughter - teabag, sugar x3, hot water then about a cm of milk.
milk first in instant coffee.
no milk in green, herbal, mushroom tea!
