I'll leave feedback when there are songs to feedback to... :P

I posted this yesterday in the July thread, but since it's August now and that thread is gonna die, I'll put it in here. I'm still not liking the intro too much.

Soundcloud
P.S. GarageBand and musical typing is a pain in the ass. :u:

Like the intro. The drop is muddy as hell tho, there is too much going on down there, kick sub war. Subby kick and a sub don't go that well together, gotta compromise on to the other. Check out the mixing aka money shot thread to improve your mixing.

I never knew that thread existed until now. Much thanks. It sounds a ton better already. :D I'll post an update later.

@Drummerpig - I really like your intro, its very unnerving, cool play between the bass noise and flute. Your drop is a little abrupt but im sure you are probably working on that as this is a WIP - yea your drop is muddy, you need to hipass your kick or get a new sample or both. I think the bass is too loud in your mix as well. The drums are a little stale as well, try some more kick/snare paly to make some variation and dink with your hihats. Put more syncopation into your song so it is more interesting. Once again the intro is badass.

@Project-Ex - Your song is sick man, I don't know if that is your wip or a sig but just thought I would let you know, well mixed and groovey. mega cool.

@Dubplateguy - you should probably leave some feedback before posting a track in the future. I think your drums are a little weak after the drop, bass is too much in the mix. Sound design on the other hand is top notch! weird vibes for sure. Also try playing with your hihats a little more. Parts are a little repetitive/hard to hold attention with. Overall it kind of feels like it isn't going anywhere if you get what i Mean

@Steeple Zshare never seems to work for me man, get a soundcloud!

@The Breadman - good start I like the drums. the snare is a teensy bit loud I thin- and the growly guy toward the end cool stuff, not much feedback to give ya cus its just an intro and I can't make an accurate assessment or comparison to any other part of the track.

Ok here is my track, I posted an earlier version last month but I would like some more feedback on it since I have added a bunch of stuff and improved the mix please give me a piece of your mind.

It's my sig, posted it in the finished tracks feedback thread today :P. Thanks for the feed tho! Really appreciate it :D.
I'll gladly return the favor: Like the vibe of the track! Good mixdown. Not too keen on the bitcrushed part at the end, but thats just my preference. Also just before the 2nd drop, as the small rise begins, i recon it would sound better without the kicks. So just the rise and the pad. Overall a very nice job!

Cool incidental sounds/nice minimal drums and the bass sounded pretty nice when I went downstairs.
Only thing I can say is that the snare was a bit too much like a blast of white noise for my liking, but each to their own, y'know..

Soundcloud has mangled it a good 'un, but I thought I'd explore the whole resampled bass thing for the first time
elements obviously need switiching up, but I keep veering from "it's okay" to "nah, it's shit".
I'm still trying to get my head around drops, but overall I'm fairly pleased with the bass for a first go...
(bollocks is "unavailable". Check soundcloud if you wanna hear it :))

Dubplateguy, that is sick mate, love the drop! :D

This is something I threw together earlier. Only started a few weeks ago with Reason, but have switched to Ableton, which is what this is made in. Really just started to get used to it today, and was playing about with drums etc...
Hows it sounding so far?

- nnny: well seriously make something that is worth posting in the wip. this is a drumloop and a padloop... well your atmosphere is ok, it's abit confusing and doesn't really seem to hold a melody. not really much to say as there's not really much to listen to...

- Jemgrover: fat stuff, bit repetitve to have it going for 2 minutes , switch things up abit, add a bass / drumbreak etc.

- Project EX: nice man, fat drums with a sub that gives my headphones some nice tremble :!: im just missing some kind of melody, doesn't have to be much, delayed soft keys , to set a nice mood. the yoyo bass you bring in is maybe a bit unnecessary, but i like how it flows. Maybe add the actual bass sound but keep the arrangement?

Something I started today, with my own recorded vocals 8)

@psythe:really like that grimey ass sound you got cooking up. Really liked predators..as far as the new track..i like it, i just don't know if i like the wobble sounds. Let me try the trak through my monitors.................sounds good. Just needs to be cleaned up a little, but like you said its a sample...

@LordBid:Check this sample down below and tell me if that gives you a little better insight.

@Lordbid- I have given feedback on many, many tracks in the past and this is only the second track I have posted. Also I dont understand how there can be too much bass in the mix, seeing as how there is zero sub bass in this version. and Finally how can you say that it is repetitive and not going anywhere, when there is a complete changeup almost every 45 seconds. Seems to me like you didnt listen to the song past a minute or two, also if my song is not really your style, than you probably shouldn't be giving feedback on it becuase you don't know what your talking about. No disrespect though man, I like your tune quite a bit actually.
