juke is complete waste. that track in the OP is so boring and repetitive.. seems like a troll song to me. recently saw Distal and that "boss of the south" track is soooo fuckin stupid... fuck this shit

This thread - and that Mike Paradinas mix - have pretty much single-handedly got me into juke. Been watching footwurk vids on youtube all evening.

So thanks yall!

as far as i know the dj nate on planet mu that just came out is the first juke on vinyl, at least of the current wave of juke and not the really old stuff.

most of the stuff people play came from imeem (some kind of defunct music website i think? fuck knows) but there's a lot of juke trax stuff on juno download and a bit on bleep. juke seems to be being hyped as the next big thing though so i'd have thought there'll be plenty coming on wax, and there's definitely a juke compilation coming out on mu soon

unless your in chi town, the best place to get this music has been by buying them off of the artists myspaces, that's what i've been doing! maybe things will change tho after the nate release...

I've tried to like this music but it just doesn't seem to do it for me. I'm not saying its shit or anything.
I digged Footcrab the first couple of times i heard it but the novelty wore off and i don't really dig it anymore.
