Post by Dublazer » Wed Aug 04, 2010 4:07 am

Yo.

Anyone of you guys know where I can find some nice dubstep-"themed" shirts?

So far I've found this shop which have a few decent t-shirts http://electroclothing.spreadshirt.se/

Anyone know another good shop?

I agree with the above post.

Those shirts are a bit expensive.

Fixed. I've got a couple of label shirts from Chemical Records. Wouldn't really want a genre name in big fuck off letters across my t shirt to be honest.

Please buy label t shirts. Having a genre name written across you looks stupid. Plus you're supporting a label you like.

I wear t shirts for metal bands and labels I like. Don't feel the need to wear t-shirts that just say "METAL! YEAH!" written on them. Dunno why people think they need t-shirts that say dubstep on them. No other genres do it. Maybe it's for posers who don't actually know anything about it but want people to think they listen to it?

I mainly wear band t-shirts from bands I like, mainly grindcore/punk ones and DIY punk label t-shirts but recently got a Black Box label tee and I agree with the rest when you should get a t-shirt that supports a label you like.

Yeah, it's pretty much this. No one needs a genre written across their chest. It really seems like a poser move.

Why do you want people to know you listen to dubstep?
People will have no idea what it means and think you're a tnuc, or they will know what it means, and think you're a bigger tnuc.

Just wear this instead:

ps, I had it printed on an American Apparel T for added cuntishness!

funny thing is, i'd rather wear a t-shirt with tnuc written on it in public than one with DUB and beneath it STEP. at least it would get a few laughs rather than making you look like a literal tnuc

Especially from a shop called "electroclothing".

Agreed.

Well at this time, I think it would suffice to say that another person new to this genre has been scared off this forum and has no potential for developing their tastes further into dubstep!

I have a sweater with dubstep on it.

By wearing it, I'm not conforming with the stnuc above (don't worry, I don't really think you are stnuc).
You see it's just as cool to think the way you do you know. I know just what u lot think when you see me walking down the street.
In the end, whose the hipster when people are being judged by their clothing style?

"hey what's that tnuc doing with a dubstep sweater, wow he must think he's really cool and all, being into dubstep. He's not the only one you know"
"oh boy, look at that tnuc, he must have a big need for confirmation that sad little old man, does he think he invented dubstep"

then I see you thinking like that and I'm thinking : MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

It's a good sweater and has served me well for years.
