My favorites have always been Base Camp Alpha 808 (Final Frontier EP) and Eye of the Storm (Sonic EP). And then there are also Mad Mike's lovely house tunes on Happy Records. This thread made me dig deep into my collection again. Nice inspiration! Wonderful music.

but this tune has an acknowledged UR influence and i'm really loving it
dont think there's many other people translating it thru their sound quite like this

If you don't own any UR, their album 'Revolution for Change' contains some classic cuts.

there is also a quite good 13 tracks that gives a good idea of the sound with some of the classics in there, I have a couple of their vinyls I bought in about 200o lurking somewhere, time for a little looksy.
