CD DJ WALLET BAG THINGY

Post by leeno » Mon Aug 09, 2010 1:17 pm

Guys,

I'm looking to get a new CD bag / wallet.

What I want is one that has interchangable pages / sheets. I'll probably buy two then I can swap pages / sheets between the two.

Any advise welcome !

Just buy lots of those UDG ones.

They're pretty thin and hold a fair amount of CD's and like, you can swap and mix them around.

Have one wallet for BANGAZ and another for EYEZ DOWN.

Yeah been looking at them. Wasn't sure if you could move the pages but this photo it looks like you can.. Image

I've seen some that have like a ring binder in the middle.

Really? Why?

I thought that would be the easiest way of keeping your freshest tunes at the front of the pack or swapping into another wallet.

How do the UDG ones work?

after a while the rings don't join together properly meaning the cd sleeves fall out.

I use a shitty one that I got for about 10 quid in some shop. The zips broke.

Still, it does the job. I just organise all my CD's before every set.

Thats the problem,I wanna get organised but Im lazy and leave things to the last minute and when I play out my CD's end up all over the show. I tend to put a CD back in the place of the one I take out so all my tunes end up a mess. towrd the end of the set I just chuck em in.

I wanna get all my CD's in a good order in a decent pouch.

I like the idea of these with the ribbons so u can keep the place of where u took the last CD from.. Image

http://www.slappa.com has nice ones, and ones that lock that are good for travel/live use. http://www.vaultz.net make some similar locking ones with different designs. They even have one that fits vinyl.

You can add/remove the pages in most of the models easily.
