this thread is so dumb. we all like dubstep! can't we just talk about what we like, instead of who's an idiot for liking what? listen to what you listen to, everyone can appreciate different stuff. instead of hating on people for listening to what they like, you should try appreciating it for yourself. i think there's something to be said for any artist, especially in this genre where it's so fueled by personal drive and creativity instead of trying to please a fanbase. dubstep is what's good. let's all just agree on that.

damu wrote: the people who have taken this idea too far have been correctly identified as morons. producers such as benga, skream and plastician are not morons, we know this. the reason they play wobblers is that they are well known and somewhat commercial, and are therefore expected to play at least a little bit of 'dirt'. this is because it is, sadly, the side of dubstep which is most well known among 'the masses'. i'm sure even they get very bored of it after a while, and we all know they're capable of a lot more.

i hope that clears up your little argument. stop calling names on the internet, its retarded.
Don't mean to argue with you, BUT I don't think that Benga, Skream and Plastician would play tracks just because that is what is expected of them. They have come this far in the scene because they play what they love, not what is expected of them. Yes, the dirtier tunes do have more of an impact and at the same time they have less longevity and so we become bored of them quicker. Then we move on to the next big hitter. A good set in my opinion is a blend of the deeper tunes with the impact ones.

Big up damu for being the voice of reason and ending another one of these threads. Don't worry chico, another one will pop up before the weeks out where you can argue some more

So then, if we are to resort to namecalling you prick, what makes me so ignorant here? Please elaborate instead of just pasting empty statements.
because you don't know shit about dubstep. Above all I'm not from france, and I don't even speak french... like the most people in Belgium.

Benga & Skream do spin/produce the occasional filth, but they can do more than that. I stil need to see an eyes down thing from doctor p or funtcase...
"don't know shit about dubstep" is again an empty statement! You have to do better than that!
I did not say you were from france... I think you didn't understand. OK so if you don't speak French, then you must be a dutchman with a stupid accent? ;)
I know what Benga, Skream, Plastician & N-Type play and I was referring to the statement that someone called anyone who likes Circus tunes a moron. These guys drop Circus tunes and are certainly not considered as morons in the scene.

I don't think you actually know what point you are trying to make, so best drop it really! You like your Scuba and Kimbie stuff, and if that turns you on, then good for you!

Sir, you remind me of that ignorant twat calling the EU-president names because he didn't know what else to say then some bogus... I should look it up who he was (lol says a lot hae when I don't even recall his name, of that importance he was!). What he said was even funnier but hae this ain't a political bs-forum so leave the sideline shxt behind you and talk about dubstep, 'cause on other surfaces you'll clearly lose.
Belgium doesn't equal the Netherlands so nu Dutchman but a Fleming... Funny enough we speak 3 languages in our country, most of us are even thought 4 (with English) we can speak them without any stupid accent. I still lol at an Englishman attempting to speak an other language if he even has the skills for it, which almost none of them have.

I doesn't mean that if Benga or Skream plays a circus tune they make them aswell mate, yes they drop it and yes it's "tha bomb" but clearly, they're still not making it (haven't seen 5 of the same "gold dust" tunes from Benga so far) if they're still not making this shxt, this must tell you something mustn't it?

Edit; and I don't dislike Doctor P, but you have to admit that a lot is the same. Same with the other circus stuff.. After a while it just get's boring, you've heard it ² much (especially the sweet shop drop -_-") I don't have that when I listen ² night or Headstrung... I even love his badman sound (but maybe that's because I've heard Benga mixin' it :D) and there are other tracks of which I'm fond... I'm actually a huge cookie monsta fan.

lol; edit 2, and I don't give a fuck if you call it dirty or sleezy or whatever, just stop making the same fucking jokes on youtube, at first it was funny now it's just retarded to read the same shxt over and over again (fucking fanboys)

Dirty, clean, i don't give a fuck. As long as it has some good ass bass, I'm set.
Now I usually find some intense bass in the 'dirtier' songs, but that's just me.

I didn't mean to hate just thought pkay's comment was a bit pointless and he seems to spread his shit everywhere.

Also just out of interest how have you managed to rack up over 500 posts since you joined a mere 22 days ago... are you perhaps a bit obsessed/ bored with life?

I just don't like you and your bitch-assness... not sure where my opinion of you started to drop but it has just grown over time. I'm not sayying you can't redeem yourself, maybe if you argued with less people and just accepted that a lot of people aren't going to like your 'dubsaw' movement then we could get on better. Sorry about reffering to your posts as 'shit', that was derogatory of me.
