as for the most recent, i can't help ya much. i'm a bit out of the loop as they say
They are not dark and they are mid range:/
Emalkay and Trad were good but now have turned into a bunch of mid range cheesers.
haven't heard much recent stuff from emalkay or goth trad, as i said i'm a bit out of the loop when it comes to newer stuff. and i realize they are midrange, i was trying to make a point that midrange bass doesn't necessarily equal talentless brostep. it's a frequency spectrum lol
i think some of emalkay and trad's earlier tunes are pretty dark. but again, i was mostly suggesting those producers as an example that not all wobble is predictable and talentless
probably not the best examples for "the true dark croydon sound", but if OP is looking for "heavy bass and actual step to the drums" , there's still plenty of good midrange wobble hidden amongst the cheese.

I completely understand your point about midrange bass not equaling talentless brostep, and it being a useful frequency spectrum... matter of fact... Im willing to bet, serox will aggree with me. the problem is, the artists your sighting, with the exceptions and exception tunes granted and respected, are, in fact, talentless brostep.

are you drunk? it's really hard to understand the majority of what you're trying to say.

so you're seriously saying that emalkay, trad, reso, and akira kiteshi (with the exceptions and exception tunes?) are talentless brostep?

personally I understood 100% of what he said. I think the problem lies in your reading comprehension skills
but Reso definitely isn't a talentless brostep producer. just listen to Hemisphere

saying that emalkay, kiteshi, reso, and trad are brostep is one thing. but talentless? that's just insulting.

well, even i acknowledged that they weren't the best recommendations for the "true dark croydon sound" haha. i was just suggesting that mid range/wobble doesn't necessarily = shitty, uninteresting bro music, which in fairness, seems to be an attitude that a lot of people tend to adopt.
