Kode9's set = set of the night. I was fucking surprised, I've seen him live twice so far, this was my third time, and he totally smashed me with his selection today (didn't really like his previous ones). 100% rave. Would kill for his set's tracklist.

Flying Lotus ripped as usual, however I was hoping for more new joints. Can someone tell me what's the title of that track about ecstasy he was playing ?

Biggest disappointment - Lorn. He was the main reason I wanted to come to BFDR this year. I was really surprised that the audience didn't boo him. Also big up for Kutmah for stepping in when the 'problem' occured! He's a really cool guy, had a chance to speak to him for a while before the show.

To be honest I left the venue in the middle of the Actress set - what happened after he finished ?

Year after year, there are more and more hipsters coming to that gig....

Apparently Lorn has recently come out of hospital with only one of his lungs working. He shouldn't have been playing in that condition, so props to him for turning up to try and play. He really shouldn't have been drinking in that condition either but that's his call. I was really amped to see him as well having following him for years through the scratch scene etc... real shame, but hopefully he'll still be doing his other dates at the end of the month and I'll get to see him then. I wish him a speedy recovery.

Kutmah and Teebs had the sets of the night for me (Kutmah's set before Teebs was killer!). Everyone killed it too, but I had to leave half way through Actress also.

Hey these things happen but i must confess one of the main reason i went to see to this show was Lorn ive seen everybody else a few times . But hey thanks for trying man i hope you feel better soon. Was really hoping to hear some of your songs on a big soundsystem. Although on the night i felt that Teebs killed it he was really amazing i havent heard of much of his stuff before but i was really impressed. I thought all in all a great night , Lorn wish you well for the future dude

Check here: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Teebs

"The Tropics EP" is his only official release, but as far as I remember, last year during one of his gigs he was handing out CDrs with his beats...

Regarding his set, I think he played only one track from Tropics, the rest was new/unreleased.

edit. he also has LP coming out on Brainfeeder soon, I hope most of those tracks he played yesterday will make it to the vinyl

I caught your 30 minute set and it was pretty damn amazing. I didn't even know you were ill.

Ohhh, and forgot to add --> Kode9's mix of "Claptrap" by Joe was one of the most brilliant moments of the whole evening... I was going mental at that time :5: :5: :5: :5: :5:
