IMO you wouldn't be able to go backwards, but you could go round the block so-to-speak.

Fuck, if I'm moving the speed of light, there is plenty more interesting than my grandfather.
I'm made of limitless energy and information at this point, and I certainly don't want to pop by the Earth for a pint anytime soon.
it's got nothing to do with accelerating to the speed of light. these guys are straight up warping gravity
I'm laughing at keeping a physical form whilst strutting across the multiverse.

Nevertheless: photons are affected by gravity, so that tells me the energy required to negate a gravitational field, would be equal to the energy require to negate light.
Not that we didn't already know that... just saying: it's a lot. :r:
you're drawing a lot of conclusions about a set of presumptions.

Nice one for making me explain that simple idea, now it has become deep philosphy (unless you're following what I mean, then it's just a colouring book I'm sure)

Unless of course you're a religious goon that went out of your way to take offense, in which case I am dumb for wasting time

Seriously though, don't call people stupid as a way of elevating yourself - it's not exactly setting a high standard is it

@ Parson

my tutor at university is a man called Professor John Divers, he's world renowned in the field of realism and anti-realism, ie modal metaphysics, exactly the kind of things that these ideas are concerned with

unfortunately i dont know anything about the science, only the logic

what about yourself?? btw this isn't a pissing contest, i want to know more, but everytime i ever try and argue with you, you just get all defensive, i'd actually like to know where you get your info from

is your professor a mystic? or is your professor an academic expert on mysticism?

myself, i am a mystic. i am a person who has repeated mystical experiences. look into it what that means if you don't know.

That's true, mainly because everything we have discussed in 4 pages has been hearsay.
Show me how it works, and let us do some time traveling.
I'm ready to go any time... just need to clear my desk, polish my shoes, and kiss the wife and kid.

i don't know how saying this is a video game is vague. there's nothing vague about it. you're composed of holographic pixels. this is not reality. within this hologram we can travel through time. it's just the way it is.

look around the world and see who has the power. occult means hidden. apocalypse means revealing.

Interesting interview Parson, the guy is clearly intelligent and has great enthusiasm..
He obviously isn't a mental so he must be after investment (literally the 2 reasons behind half this stuff). Anyway, let's have a look;

http://www.andersonmultinational.com/

this is a very unconvincing site, no details on ANYTHING, pages with no links.. surprisingly the most work has been put into the 'Investors' section http://www.andersoninvestors.com and the futuristic flash animations/music (ooh future!). The investor site has no links even in the contacts page and all the info is about as vague as it gets.

The main site seems to pride itself on it's affiliations and has no end of links to them such as http://www.hopemart.org/

Seems great at first glance, 'leave no child behind', very nice except the site has no details regarding it's mission, it doesn't say WHAT IT DOES but hints that by purchasing things through Hopemart you are contributing to a charitable cause. Except that the purchasing page is just a search engine with links to buy cameras and ipods off Amazon. They don't even have charity registration..

Still they have lots of the same cool affiliations that Anderson's original page has such as http://livingthroughart.org, a site with almost no info on anything and most of the pages are filled with iorem ipsum (including the fucking privacy policy!) presumably because couldn't be bothered to write anything or they just plain assumed no-one would look this far.
This company has the same Rochester info as Anderson's own enterprise...

I can't be arsed to keep looking at this shit but I could write a fucking book on the how shoddy this whole sertup is.
Parson, for a man who tells every naysayer how blind they are, you sure miss a lot of stuff.

the only reason we experience time as persistent and linear is because that is our human perception. that doesn't make time persistent and directional in any way whatsoever. it only means that the little human equation of perception limits the experience of time to a series of persistent slices.

we're drawing lines through an 11 dimension fractal and calling it our lives

if you want to believe that there is a reality outside of human perception then fine, but its a self-defeating point, as soon as you raise the issue of perception you're immediately stuck
