Yeh, I can definately hear Coki in this.
Very nice production.

And, yes, I would love a 320 :t:

don't bother

this isnt a "tribute" its a poor quality rip off of a coki track

also, i seriously doubt he would take it as compliment. judging from an interview i read, he hates people copying him.

yeah i realise that, thats why i edited what i wrote

guess its one thing though just to put it up for fun, but i just thought it seemed a bit much getting it mastered and giving out 320s? after all, it is 100% plagiarised

as i was driving at, i doubt coki would be pleased and flattered at you doing that

To the people flaming...

The kid had an idea, went with it, and it turned out pretty well. It would be a bit silly if you did a tribute to Coki and made some weird, minimal shit.

thx for the back up here hehe....

I don't get why some peopel are flaming....if you don't like the tune itself that's fine by me everyone has it's own tastes....but to flame me because I made a tribute to someone I really like is a bit silly IMO!

The melody is not copying any other tune. He made all of these sounds by himself and it sounds like he spent quite a bit of time and put in some hard work on this track synthesizing and laying it all out. Just because it sounds like a coki track doesn't mean it's automatically "cheap, copied, and shit". I can think of loads of minimal sub-focused tunes by different artists that sound similar but I don't write them off as cheap, uncreative rips.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Loads of people thought that dub mechanics track was by coki and when they found out otherwise they didn't seem to have a problem with it did they???

that is very right, I spent alot of time on this track especially the bass synth and arrangement all the little bass switches that are not randomely done but thought out...(I don't know if this is correct english but you get the point lol)

this is not even half of all the automations on this bassline :P
