Any chance you can put me a bit closer to the end? Just because I'm going to be transitioning into House with some nice samplage. I'd like to do it, but if anyone's already bagged the switch, I'll just stick with housey stuff.

hayze, i think the last 5 of you are all transitioning into house vibes/130bpm and is why i had you all following ashley

i had you following ashley so you could transition out of dubstep bits... if you'd like to be deeper into the house part of things talk with collidge/dza and see if either of them are willing to swap.

if you can confirm with collidge and dza what they plan to do i can swap you all around

Volume 1 is all accounted for and the lineup is locked in.

This project will be finished in the next 10-14 days or so at which point we can begin planning the second volume

Please stay tuned for info on Volume 2 and signups for artists to contribute to Volume 2.

Completely stoked so many people wanna get in on this, just have patience and we'll keep this going :p

Whats the limit on each segment again? 10-15mins or 10-15 tunes?

been telling the people when I turn it over at least 4 tunes no more than 12 tunes

and your time limit is now at least 14mins - and no more than 18 mins (upped it from 15 mins since part of that time will be spent mixing in and out of other artists sets).

Overall goal is to keep it under 3 hours total.... i think we should easily accomplish that.

yeah should end up being about an hour and a half to two hours worth of dubstep and then a little over an hour of house/funky vibes.

FOR THE ARTISTS: Some things I need from you when you turn over your portion of the mix.

1) an accurate tracklisting labeled (Artist - Track - Label)

if track is a dub label who is releasing it, if it is unsigned and you wish to aid the artist in getting it signed feel free to include their email or aim addy. Example: Pkay- Track A - Unsigned (AIM: PkayAP)

2) Also please include your performance name and up to two affiliations you wish to include, example: Pkay- Dubsaw Recordings/Execu7ion Records

Haven't been on much recently and totally missed this.

Any way of getting involved if I only mix vinyl?

not on this volume, but next volume you can

a couple people asked about vinyl via email... unless you have serato or a cd player the only option i can see is if you opened the set that way you're only mixing your own tunes and not following anyone up.

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

You can always do a 100% vinyl mix and then digitally mix your first tune with their last.

That's what I plan to do.
