I don't think good producers ever set out to make 'dubstep.' If your only reference point to music is half step wobble dubstep then you're not being 'experimental' or doing anything new. Your tracks are a collection of FL studio noises over directionless synths.
People like Mystikz and LV have a roots dub vibe; Joker, Silkie and Quest explore the soulful side of grime, Pangaea sometimes uses a 2step shuffle, The Bug makes dancehall ragga and Rustie picks out amazing melodies from broken bleeps and bloops.
You just have albino set to 'wobble.'

dont take other peoples tunes and sample them.....
lol.... people have been sampling for decades.... i dont see whats wrong with sampling a pharoah monch song, and the rest tbh! aslong as its not just a straight rip off..
tunes not too bad! needs something to fill out more of the mid ranges imo. And as above, at least its not just some horrible sounding wobble.
Re: check out this tune i made u wont regret it lol
thanks for the honest feedbak, an yeah i do need to get more mid range percs or sumthin, was tryin to get some bongo sounds but gave up on that, maybe some more delay/reverb on the synths. may post a few edits soon.

First off, buy another HDD.1stfiest wrote:seriously i have 116 mb of space left! whats so good about wav files?
Secondly, the commenter who mentioned .wav's was just saying that your tunes will get better if you take notes from the dubs section. Nothing about changing the type of file you render to.
